1. Pause the Current Stage:

  • If the stage is already in progress and you need to perform a re-run, first pause the current operation by pressing the Hold Job button.
  • This will pause the active job but keep the stage data intact.

2. End the Stage:

  • Once paused, press the Finish and Publish Report button to officially end the current stage. This allows you to modify or reset the operation for a re-run.

3. Review Shot Data:

  • After stopping the job, review the shot data and make a note of any necessary changes (if any misfires or issues occurred during the initial run).

4. Access the Re-run Option:

  • Navigate back to the Stage Flow Tab.
  • Select the same well and stage that you just stopped, and look for the option to Re-run the stage.
  • Click the Re-run button or option to initiate the process.

5. Adjust Shot Plan (if necessary):

  • If adjustments are required (such as shot depths or tool configurations), use the Shot Plan Editor to make changes before starting the re-run.
  • Save any updates to the shot plan.

6. Start the Re-run:

  • Once you’ve confirmed the re-run and made any necessary adjustments, press the Start Job button to begin the re-run.
  • Make sure the tool string is at surface (<200’) to capture the entire run accurately.

7. Monitor the Re-run:

  • Keep track of the re-run progress in the Stage Flow Tab and ensure all data is being properly captured.

8. Finish & Publish the Re-run Report:

  • Once the re-run is complete, return the tool string to the surface and press Finish & Publish Report.
  • Confirm the final status (e.g., All Shots Fired, Misfire) and ensure all shot depths are accurately recorded.

By following these steps, you can effectively transition from a stage in progress to a re-run in pdVISION.
