In pdVISION, the My Notifications section lets you customize the alerts you receive, such as well events or Points of Interest, and choose how you get them (e.g., email or text). The Contacts section allows you to manage notifications for other individuals, setting their preferences and ensuring they receive the appropriate alerts based on their roles.
1. Ensure Wells and Points of Interest Are Set Up:
- Before setting up notifications, ensure that your Points of Interest (POI) are properly configured. (Click here for instructions on how to adjust them).
2. Access Notification Setup:
- Navigate to the Notification Center. (Opening Notification Center)
3. Add Alerts by selecting the Add Alerts button.
3. Create Notifications:
- Select Notification Type from the drop down to create notifications based on time or distance values from the defined POI.
- Set the parameters
- You can set notifications for a specific direction of the pass such as Up, Down, and Both.
- You can set the Distance in feet or Time in minutes.
- You can add as many notifications as needed.
4. Assign Notification Recipients:
- Notifications can be sent to:
- The Notification Center within the client view.
- Texts and emails for any Wellsite Representatives added to the system.

Note: Ensure Points of Interest are accurate before setting notifications, as incorrect setup can lead to missed or incorrect alerts. Always confirm contact details of recipients for smooth communication.
