Adding a Sermon Device to Warrior Unifire

WARNING: Ensure you save all changes before exiting to prevent corrupting the Service. If unsure, reach out to a Tech Lead or Dipole Support for assistance.

1. Open Database Utilities:

• On your Warrior computer, find and select Database Utilities from the taskbar.
• If it’s hidden, click the upward arrow to reveal more icons.

2. Edit Logging Service Details:

• In Database Utilities, select Edit Logging Service Details.
• A new window will open. On the left, scroll through and select the Service being used (e.g., ZipFire, ZipFire2, or ShootingCollars).

3. Add a New Device:

• Click Add and select Device.

4. Select the Sermon Device to Add:

• In the prompt window, select the appropriate Sermon device based on availability:

• If no Sermon devices are listed, add the following:

Sermon,10,Data=ELTIM,ADPTH,LSPDRT,CCLRT,LTENRT,SHVOLT,SHCURR

• If a Sermon device is in use by a third party, add:

Sermon2,10,Data=ELTIM,ADPTH,LSPDRT,CCLRT,LTENRT,SHVOLT,SHCURR

• If both Sermon and Sermon2 devices are in use, add:

Sermon3,10,Data=ELTIM,ADPTH,LSPDRT,CCLRT,LTENRT,SHVOLT,SHCURR

5. Verify Device Addition:

• You should now see a Device# line with the newly entered Sermon device.

6. Save Changes:

• It is critical to click Save in the Services Editor window.
• Failure to save will corrupt the Service. 

7. Restart Warrior Acquisition:

• After saving, restart Warrior Acquisition.

8. Configure COM Ports:

• Set the COM port for Warrior Sermon and Dipole Warrior plugin as outlined in the Sermon Setup - Dipole Warrior Plugin instructions.

9. Seek Help if Needed:

• If a Sermon device is being used by another company or if you have any doubts, contact a Tech Lead or Dipole Support for assistance.

Note: Always double-check your settings to ensure proper configuration. Misconfiguring the device or COM ports may impact data acquisition and Service stability.
