Petrix Computer configuration

1. Create RS232 or TCP/IP output channel:

  • Locate the Stage Explorer on the left side of the screen.


  • Right click on Generic Outputs folder and select the output you want to create:


2A. Serial Configuration:

  • After selecting New RS232
  • Name the channel
  • Select the COM Port Number 
  • Baud Rate: 9600
  • Data Bits: 8
  • Parity: None
  • Stop Bits: 1
  • Flow Control: None
  • Delimiter: ,
  • End of line: \r\n




2B. TCP Configuration:

  • After selecting New TCP
  • Name the channel
  • Select the server type: Client (Pending to test)
  • IP Address: From Petrix Computer
  • Port Number: Assign a port
  • Delimiter: ,
  • End of line: \n






3. Select the channels and finish the output creation:
